Magic Mirrors
Let’s be pushed forward by pain. Let’s just start by asking an obvious question:
Who invited pain to this party?
Listen closely, it’s not my pain. And, I certainly did not invite it. But, here it is.
Now, what?!
Get rid of it? Hide it? Tolerate it?
Many of my friends are struggling with pain. They are looking for doctors, medications, and self-help sellers who can make the pain manageable. And they really don’t want to talk about it. They know:
Pain is not popular.
But, what if the purpose of pain is to change? A friend of mine taught me:
Pain pushes until vision pulls.
Unfortunately, many of my friends simply can’t see past the pain. And this, I understand. Pain can be all-consuming. They get depressed. They can’t see or do anything, except hurt.
If we could somehow more clearly see a better future, we would be pulled forward by the vision. We wouldn’t need the push of pain to propel us to a better life.
A magic mirror helps us see beyond our pain. We all deserve a compelling vision of a beautiful life to pull us forward –out of our pain.
Pain pushes until vision pulls.
Don’t let pain push you down. Turn around and be pushed forward. Let pain serve its purpose so we can all live on purpose.
If you can’t see your purpose or a greater vision for your life, give me a call. We can all be magic mirrors for our friends and family.
Let’s be pushed forward by pain, together. It is time to see a greater, compelling vision for your life. We can help each other see it and be it!
